Introducing Caillou!

Hi, My name is Caillou.  I am 8 yrs old, and in the Third grade.  My favorite color is blue.  I really like to do computers at school.  I really, really like anything to do with the computers.  I don't like to get into trouble at school.  My favorite activity is Recess.  Today is Halloween, but we had our party last Friday.  Today was Mega-Party for our fundraisers.  One thing I really liked doing this year was making "smelly" pumpkins with Mrs. G our OT.  We made them with cinnamon, flour, glue, and cookie cutters.

Introducing Trent!

Hi, my name is Trent.  I am 8 years old, and in 2nd grade.  My favorite color is Red!  I really like gym at school.  But I really don't like reading or doing puzzles at school.  I really wish I was old enough to be out of school. 

Introducing Skyler

Hi, my name is Skyler.  My favorite color is puple.  I am 10 years old, and in 5th grade.  My favorite activity to do in school is doing puzzles.  I am really good at it too!  I really don't like to read at school, or home either.  Teacher sends reading homework home almost every night too!  Um, my favorite thing to do ever would be NO SCHOOL! 

Introducing Nathan

Hi my name is Nathan.  My favorite color is blue.  I like to do math the best at school.  I really don't like to do reading.  I am 10 years old, and in the 5th grade.  I like to work by myself.  I really like to watch TV, my favorite show is "Sponge Bob".

One of our favorite things to do, when we have our work finished, is do puzzles.  Teacher says we are the best puzzle doers ever!  Sometimes we like to work together and sometimes we like to do a puzzle alone.  Here are a few of us with our finished puzzles. 

Introducing Hunter

HI my name is Hunter.  I am in the 4th grade.  My favorite color is blue.  My favorite thing to do in school is Math.  I also play Three back/Running back on our elementary school football team.  I have a game this Saturday, and I hope it doesn't rain!

Introducing Thomas

Hi, My name is Thomas.  I am in the 4th grade.  My favorite color is black, but teacher said to pick a different one to write with, so I picked dark red.  My favorite thing about school is playing outside for recess and do gym.  My favorite activity in gym is soccer.  My favorite thing I have learned so far this year in school is reading.  (And teacher says I am doing a great job!).

Introducing Melissa!

Hello, My name is Melissa.  I am in 5th grade.  My favorite color is purple.  My favorite subject in school is helping the teacher.  I also like to go out for recess.  I was a cheerleader for our elementary football team.  That was so much fun. 

Introducing...AUTUMN

Hi...my name is AUTUMN.  I am in the 4th grade.  My favorite color is pink.  My favorite subject in school is science, and I just finished a report on sea turtles!  I love to jump rope outside.  AND I love to read.  I like helping the others in my class read too!

Our butterfly pictures...

We really enjoyed having our butterflies in our classroom.  It was raining all three days they hatched.  Yes, they each hatched on a different day!  (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).  SO, we let them fly around our classroom.  We had to put a sign on our door so everyone knew that the butterflies were "loose".  They mostly stayed on teacher's flowers, but sometimes they flew to the window.  They really liked landing on teacher too!  Here are some of us getting to know our friends a little better.  Oh...and if you ever get to see a monarch up close, see if you can tell the male and female apart.  (We know how!)

Homecoming!

Hi, I'm Hunter, I get to update you today.  This week is our high school homecoming!  We have had fun celebrating in our classroom.  Monday was Mis-match day, Tuesday was class color day (I wore orange), Wednesday was PJ day (see photo one).  Today is beach day (see photo two)!  Tomorrow is our school color day!  After school tomorrow we will have a parade.  I get to be in it because I am a football player, and Melissa is a cheerleader so she gets to be in it too.  (Oh we have been learning about to, two, too so I know which to write!)  See photo three for me and Melissa.

Butterflies, Butterflies, Butterflies...

Good Morning,

Our teacher found three Monarch butterfly Caterpillars at her house.  She brought them in for us to watch.  They decided to form their Chrysalis's almost as soon as they came into the classroom.  We had fun watching them change.  AND then, one at a time, our butterflies hatched.  We could NOT let them go right away because it was raining so much.  SO, they stayed with us for several days in our classroom.  Enjoy our pictures...

Hello, and welcome to our blog.  Come on in and enjoy our site.  We will be sharing what we have been doing and learning in our classroom.  We have 9 boys and 2 girls in our class.  Oh, and a teacher too!  We are excited to start our blogging experience.  In a few days, we will introduce ourselves, but until then...happy learning!  (and peek into our classroom!)
